Family Christmas Traditions Worth Sharing

It's the most wonderful time of the year ( as we all hear that jingle in our heads now).  For some of that, it means we bring back our yearly Christmas Traditions.  Or maybe you want to start a new family Christmas tradition.  Hummingbird in as Shoebox has compiled a list of favorite traditions for you to enjoy with your family.

Matching Family Pajamas

This is a super cute tradition that can be funny and comfy all at the same time. I mean we all need new pajamas, right?  How about making this a fun and silly tradition and add your favorite Christmas movie to it while you relax.

Reverse Advent Calendar

We love this idea!  Instead of the traditional advent calendar where you open something each day, instead you and your family add something each day. Then at the end you can deliver this to your local favorite charity.

Cookies and Milk for Santa

This one isn't new but it can be made super fun by spending time together making cookies as a family and then leaving them out with a cute note for Santa. Our favorite is Chocolate Chip - YUM!

Watching your favorite Christmas movie

Maybe it's the same movie (ours is Elf and Christmas Vacation) or maybe you choose a different movie each week for the month of December.  Whichever you decide, you can make this your own and get in some fun family quality time while you do it.

Gingerbread houses

Building a gingerbread house together is a fun activity that everyone can enjoy.  Maybe give each person a piece of the house to decorate or create a village with each person decorating their own house.  Gingerbread houses can be purchased at your local grocer or store.
